The map is showing international boundaries, transportation, passes, water features, glaciers, religious and military buildings and populated places. Several insets with index map showing isolation of Bhutan, and a reliability diagram.
Cartography by James E. Queen with shaded relief by Eugene E. Zang. According to a note underneath the title "Based on the best available Survey of India large scale maps, geographical explorations in Bhutan executed during 1961 and 1964 by Dr. P.P. Karan and party, and early maps and records in the British Museum Library. . ."

Unusual wall map of one of the world’s most mountainous and formerly inaccessible countries. Bhutan borders China to the north and India to the south, east and west. To the west, it is separated from Nepal by the Indian state of Sikkim and further south it is separated from Bangladesh by the Indian states of Assam and West Bengal.
Bhutan was located on the Silk Road between China and the Indian subcontinent.
