Description
The map is color coded into 5 different colors, representing those areas under Roman procurators, the Roman province of Syria, the Tetrarchy of Herod Antipas, the Tetarchy of Philip, and Decapolis.
There are symbols that denote towns visited by Jesus (19), and old towns, new towns, castles, ruins, borders, railways, general jouneys, and those undertaken by Jesus. Many inland towns and cities are shown.
Running the entire right side of the map is a detailed Index linking numbered journeys made and the Gospels - these then relate to specific sections of the map, The Index lists 'Journeys end', 'Deeds', direct biblical references to the Saints of 'Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John'.
There is also a smaller index to Cities, Rivers etc. The map includes the most important sites from the Old & New Testaments as complied by Th. F. Mathesy PH.D.
