Horae. [Book of Hours, Use of Angers]

>Each leaf with elaborate decorated floral side borders and finely illuminated, burnished gold initials with pen work in red and black on almost every leaf throughout.
Each page with a three-line initial and several one-line initials with gold leaves, sparkling with gold and color, same for line fillers.
Text is written in a fine regular gothic book hand in black ink with the rubrics in red.

Minor occasional soiling and spotting, a few initials with minimal paint loss, otherwise very fine, with large margins.

Calendar in French, with an entry for every, June and July are missing: Calendar with use of Angers. Calendar in French, with an entry for every day, decorated in an unusual style : Each leaf has a richly decorated KL at the top, Latin abbreviation for Calendar, followed by the days mentioning the Saints in either gold, red of blue.
